This is an easy to read, delightful story. The main character, Charlie is inspiring the way she tackles her life challenges. Well written, I found myself immersed in the beautiful Australian places she stayed and with the people she met. Her relationship with her daughters and family also felt very real. A great debut novel.
A story that stays with you long after closing the book - I haven't been able to stop thinking about this book since finishing it! My mum bought this for me, knowing that I'm at a similar stage of life to the main character. Ever since, I have been daydreaming about what could be possible beyond the expectations of work, family, repeat. I can't wait for the next book to see what Charlie does next! A wonderful first book for this author.
